Season 2010 will officially commence with pre-season training at Balmoral Oval on Thursday 28th January at 7pm, then every Tuesday & Thursday until the season proper begins in April.

Grand Final Day is almost upon us, and plans have been put in place to make sure it is an unforgettable week!

Here are the plans:

Thursday 17th September
- Training at Boronia Park in Hunters Hill from 7-8:30pm
- Grand Final Team Dinners at Hotel Cremorne from 9pm immediately after training (all players not in GF's to come along and support)

Club Captain's Corner - Round 18 vs Beecroft

As I write this report at the end of the regular Season 2009, I have to say how proud I am of what the club has achieved so far (and we haven't even got onto the finals yet)! It is a credit to all players, coaches, managers and of course the committee that we have been able to achieve such greatness for Mosman Rugby in 2009.

Such a promising start to the day at the Forest dustbowl ended rather dissapointingly with first and second grade succumbing to their Melwood hoodoo once again. That being said, I’d like to congratulate all the lower grades for their awesome efforts.

Fifths showed that they are a force to be reckoned with this year in the Sutherland Cup winning 41-7. Fourths continued their strong form winning their 6th game in a row and are bulding momentum for the finals. Third grade produced the gutsiest win… Continue

Sunny skies on Saturday saw the Whales on track to come away from St Luke’s Park with wins in all grades over Kings Old Boys, only to narrowly go down in 1st Grade with a cruel intercept try in the dying minutes of the game. This unfortunately robbed us for the second week in a row of another illustrious ‘Whalewash’, but didn’t change the fact that it was a very successful day for the Whales with victories in 5 out of 6 grades.
