2009 AGM, news for 2010

Annual General Meeting and Announcement of Committee for 2010

The AGM was held last Sunday 22 November at the Clubhouse. Congratulations to the new committee being elected for the 2010 year:

President - John Sullivan
Vice President - Damon Lynch
Honorary Secretary - Martin Wilson
Honorary Treasurer - Radu Dumitri
Committee - Nathan McCullum , Nathan Boyd, Chris Cornforth, Trent Matchett
Club Captain - Alex Breen (remains in position until next season election)

We also would like to thank Sam Macdonald, Glenn Lihou, Ed Fox for their efforts on the committee in 2009.

The highlight of the AGM was awarding Michael Morgan with Honorary Life Membership for his great work within the club. Congratulations to Mick on a much deserved recognition of his tireless work for the club over the years.

Coaching Appointments for 2010

It was with great pleasure to announce the key coaching appointments at the AGM. Steve Lidbury has accepted the role as Club Coach for 2010. Steve worked as a technical consultant in 2008 season and is familiar with a number of the players. Steve brings a wealth of experience to the club, being a former Wallaby and has also worked with the Waratahs in a coaching capacity. The 1st Grade coaches are Paul Smyth and Todd Hogan. The passion and enthusiasm of Todd and Paul is unquestionable and we are pleased to see the pair back in the coaching ranks in 2010 for a tilt at the Premiership and Club Championship. Chris Hatfield has accepted the role of 2nd Grade and John Davaine and Clyde Livingstone are returning as coaches of the Colts team. We congratulate all on their appointments. Other team coaches will be announced as soon as we finalise the positions.
